A Snowman Story called The Special Snowman
**I wrote this when I was 7 (rewritten a little since I’m 10 now). It’s based on the pictures you will see after you read the story. Hope it makes you feel good!**
On a snowy afternoon in February, my sister and I decided to make a snowman. We rolled 3 balls of snow and stacked them, the biggest being on the bottom, of course. Then, we gathered up all the supplies we needed to decorate him.
Sticks for the arms? Check.
Rocks for the eyes? Check.
A hat for the head? Check.
A scarf? No, but he didn’t want one.
A stick from a pine tree for the mouth? Check.
We hung out with our Snowman all day. He watched us roll around, he watched us sled, have a snowball fight and climb trees. At the end of the day, we gave him a hug, said goodbye, and went inside.
So, what makes this snowman so special? You may be thinking…he doesn’t talk, he doesn’t walk, he isn’t perfectly stacked, he’s not very big, and he can’t sing or dance like Frosty. So, again, why is this snowman so special, Kinley?
This is the Special Snowman because I made him with my sister. That’s why.

**We hope you enjoyed this snowman story! For another winter story, you’ll enjoy Rainbow in Winter or head back to Short Stories.
***Do you love snowmen as much as we do? Frosty, of course, is the best but here are a couple of other snowman books that we recommend: Fritz the Farting Reindeer is hilarious! And The Snowman may not have any words, but it’s a sweet story told with only pictures. Very cool.

Its such as you read my mind! You seem to grasp so much about this, such as you wrote the e-book in it or something. I feel that you just can do with some p.c. to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is great blog. An excellent read. I’ll definitely be back.
